Elkhart Lake, Wisc. - Colin Braun paced the first GT World Challenge America practice session of the double-header race weekend at Road America. The DXDT Racing driver of the #04 Mercedes-AMG GT3 set a best laptime of 2-minutes, 6.162-seconds to lead the overall field and ProAm classes in an abbreviated practice session.
In the Pro class, K-PAX Racing's Andrea Caldarelli turned a 2:07.967 in the #3 Lamborghini to set the initial pace on the series' return to competition for the first time in over two months.
Am-class driver Conrad Grunewald (#61 Ferrari 488 GT3) drove his stint in the AF Corse entry to a session-best 2:08.677 lap time.
Results are provisional until posted Final. GT World Challenge America competitors return to the track Friday at 3:50 pm CT for the second Official Practice session.
